Stock Symbol YTBLA, Building A New Portfolio for the New Year
Hello 2008! I bought some shares of YTBLA just before the market closed on New Year’s Eve. YTBLA is the stock symbol for YTB International.
I’ve been with YTB going on two years now and have a free or paid travel rep site, so now I’m joining the investors.
I’ve also been watching YTBLA for sometime. Having a free or paid travel rep site with YTB makes it very easy to watch the stock, since the current price shows up when you log in…
It rose from under $2 bucks (approximated price around the time I joined, summer 2006) per share. I can remember when it was $6.40. It was at a high, near the $10 range, in August 2007 just before I joined forces with competitor Traverus. Its been low ever since. The last trade for 2007 was for $1.09.
According to the official ytb investor’s site, the 52-week high was $18.50.
So I concluded that it was the perfect time for me to jump in, especially since YTB International ending on a high note for 2007 as it more than doubled the size of the travel network to more than 135,000 represetatives.
Building A New Portfolio for the New Year
Its the first day of 2008, the beginning of my new financial portfolio for stock trading, and I’m ready for my second stock pick. Once I figure out what it is, I’ll post an update about it - in addition to the progress of my financial portfolio as a whole.
